With Fourth of July celebrations in the books, preparations for back-to-school time begin to enter the minds of many parents. The Washington County Health Department will kick off a series of summer immunization clinics to help catch students up on vaccinations required for public school attendance.
Starting Thursday, July 27, a total of four clinics will be held from 1-7 p.m. at the health department, 1302 Pennsylvania Ave., in Hagerstown. Registration will close a week before each clinic to allow the nursing team to review records and requests.

Recommended schedules of vaccinations for those 18 years of age and younger are available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) online here.
Current immunization records may be uploaded during registration for the nursing team to review.
