The Washington County Health Department received a Silver level Wellness at Work Award at the 10th annual Maryland Workplace Health and Wellness Symposium in Baltimore on June 7, 2019. The Wellness at Work Awards are awarded by the Healthiest Maryland Businesses program to recognize employers for their worksite wellness efforts. Healthiest Maryland Businesses is a statewide initiative to promote worksite wellness in Maryland organizations. Any organization in Maryland can join for free. This year, 67 businesses received Wellness at Work Awards at the Gold, Silver, Bronze, and On the Path levels.
